If you’re thinking about taking a helicopter ride in Alpine but you’re not sure what to expect, this is the article for you! We’ve answered some of our most popular questions to make you feel more comfortable and prepared for your flight experience.
What should I bring?
Always bring sunglasses. Even if it looks a little cloudy, the glare can take away from the awesome view! Remember to take your camera or your phone with you if the quality is good. You’re going to want to take some photos because the view from the helicopter is absolutely breathtaking. The flight will also be steady enough to take video so make sure you’ve got enough storage available!
Is it going to be scary?
Not at all! Even our more anxious passengers calm down after take-off when they realise that being in a helicopter feels different to a plane. All our pilots are extremely experienced and regularly reviewed to ensure they are working at the highest industry standards. You will always be in safe hands!
Will there be turbulence?
The sleek design and flexible blades of helicopters are built to deal with turbulence, so you don’t have to feel a thing! We always assess the weather conditions before finalising flights, so we can ensure that all our passengers have the best helicopter flight experience possible.
How noisy is it?
All our passengers are given noise-cancelling headphones to communicate comfortably and easily with the pilot throughout the trip. This way you can ask questions and hear some of the great stories that our pilots have to offer!
Enjoy!
Remember not to film or take pictures the whole time. Looking through a lens is nowhere near as good as using your own eyes no matter how awesome the picture quality is!
